Marketing & Communications Manager
Turn stories, strategy, and ideas into communications that inspire people to act.
At The Root Agency, we believe powerful missions deserve powerful storytelling. The right message, delivered thoughtfully and consistently, can deepen relationships, inspire generosity, and move communities forward.
The Marketing & Communications Manager is an essential part of making that happen.
This role includes storytelling, design, project management, and client service. You will help our team and nonprofit partners turn complex ideas into clear, compelling communications, and bring campaigns, donor materials, digital content, and creative projects from concept to execution.
You are someone who sees both the big picture and the details that bring it to life. You have an eye for what looks good, an ear for what sounds right, and an instinct for what will connect with an audience. You can manage multiple projects and deadlines while protecting brand consistency and quality. And when a message isn't landing or a project needs to move forward, you don't simply wait for direction. You ask the right questions, find the solution, and help make the work stronger.
Most importantly, you understand that great nonprofit marketing and communications isn't just about creating beautiful content. It's about helping organizations tell their story in a way that builds trust, inspires generosity, and advances their mission.
This is a full-time, in-office position based at The Root Agency headquarters in Dunedin, Florida.
