We need a Database Administrator & Analyst.
​
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator & Analyst with strong professional integrity? We are inviting you to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in managing diverse datasets.  You will play a crucial role in extracting insights from various sources of data to inform nonprofit client partner strategies and The Root Agency business decisions, ultimately empowering our scale and improving the client experience.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth and success through data-informed initiatives.

Additionally, the Database Administrator & Analyst will develop workflows in nonprofit client CRMs such as Salesforce, Bloomerang, Donor Perfect, etc. 
​
The third prong of this role includes role-specific oversight of company IT infrastructure and digital assets.
​
​
Your Responsibilities will Sow the Seeds for Professional and Business Growth.
​

• Gather clean and pre-process data

​

• Conduct data analysis 

 

•  Develop and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to

communicate lead and lag indicators for our nonprofit partners and

internal departments

​

•  Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations for

non-technical audiences

 

• Design predictive modeling to forecast donor trends, program outcomes,

client needs, and to shape our business

​

• Create workflows in nonprofit partner CRMs such as Salesforce,

Bloomerang, Donor Perfect, etc.

​

• Manage IT infrastructure and digital assets

​

• Commit to continuous improvement of process workflows and staying

abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies

​

• Adhere to data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure

data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements

​

• Invest in building long-lasting relationships both externally and internally

       

• All other projects/duties as assigned

​

We are a Hybrid Company.

​

We are physically located in Dunedin, FL, at the Hub above the Chamber of Commerce in Downtown Dunedin. We currently serve clients in 15 states. Our team members are located across the US. This is a remote position, and our company core hours are from 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday.  Up to 20% of work time could include travel based on company needs.

Are You the Right Fit?

​

• Must be coachable, a nimble executor, and adaptable with a finesse           

to creating order in complex environments

 

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related

IT and/or Business field. Advanced degree preferred.

​

• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or nonprofit

organizational setting

  

• Experience with various CRMs such as Salesforce, Bloomerang, Donor

Perfect, etc. 

​

• G-Suite Certification and/or experience with organizational digital file 

management is a plus 

​

• Must possess a detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and

precision in data analysis  

​

• Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task accordingly, while keeping

others apprised of status with respect to firm due dates

​

• Value altruism and philanthropic endeavors

​

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel,

PowerPoint), Google Drive,  Apple products, Zoom, multiple technology and

software platforms

​

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex

data into actionable insights

 

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or

matplotlib

​

• Experience in SQL, Python R, or other programming languages commonly

used for data analysis

​

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms is a plus

​

​

This is a Full-time Position.

​

The starting salary for this position is $80,000 with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and performance-based promotions. As a benefit, we offer 10 days of PTO, all federal holidays, and we are closed the week of Thanksgiving and 2 weeks at the end of the year. 401k is available with health benefits coming soon! Meaningful work in a supportive team environment.
